How It Works: Donating

Got some gently used furniture or home decor that needs a new home? We’ve got the perfect family for it! Simply email us at thediggsdenver@gmail.com with photos of your item and if it fits our criteria we will help to coordinate a pick-up or drop-off. We’ll do the heavy lifting (literally)! If you want to donate money or volunteer please email us.

What We Accept
If your furniture’s been living its best life but still has plenty of good years left, we want it! Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Lightly used furniture (like that fancy couch in the formal living room that no one’s allowed to sit on)

  • Shelving units or bookcases

  • Light fixtures

  • Rugs

  • Nightstands

  • Coffee tables (bonus points if it’s never seen an actual coffee cup)

  • Wall decor

  • Dining tables

  • Dressers or storage cabinets

  • Bed frames (no mattresses)

  • Mirrors

  • Throw pillows (in good condition)

  • Curtains or drapes

  • Table lamps

What We Don’t Accept
While we love all kinds of quirky treasures, there are a few things we just can’t take:

  • Mattresses

  • Inflatable pools

  • Lawn flamingos

  • Used bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows)

  • Appliances (stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers)

  • Clothing or textiles

  • Children’s toys

  • Exercise equipment

  • Damaged or broken furniture

  • Outdoor furniture (unless specifically requested)

  • Perishable items

We’ll make sure your beloved furniture finds a new family to love it!

How It Works: Receiving Support

We partner with local organizations to help families who have recently bought a home but need a little help with the finishing touches. Here’s how we roll:

  1. Intake and Assessment
    They fill out a form to tell us what they need, and we’ll work our magic to match your style and color preferences. Because, let’s be honest, no one wants a neon green couch in their minimalist dream home.

  2. Tailored Matching
    We’ll digg into our inventory (pun intended!) to find pieces that fit their needs and style. Think of it as shopping without the stress.

  3. Additional Support
    We do our best to find everything they need, but if something’s missing, we might be able to make it happen through our budget—just no promises on scoring that vintage Eames chair.

  4. Design Consulting
    We’re here to make their space sparkle! We offer styling tips and design consulting, so their home feels like their home. It’s like having a personal interior designer (minus the hefty bill).
